All American: Homecoming Cast: Where You’ve Seen The Cast Before

Another day, another spin-off, right? With so many amazing shows receiving spinoffs lately, it can be hard to keep up, like with the To come up Dragon House. lucky for you all american fans, there’s another spin-off to follow now, and it’s All Americans: Homecoming.

A fallout, of course, of the popular CW series, All Americans, this new show follows that show’s Simone Hicks as she navigates the life of an HBCU, known as Bringston University. With so many young stars, they might seem familiar. This is where you may have seen the All Americans: Homecoming thrown forward.

Geffri Maya (Simone Hicks)

As leader of All Americans: Homecoming, Geffri Maya has become a recognizable face on television, including her big role in All Americans, which landed him the lead role in this spin-off. You may have also seen her in many other shows before.

These include, but are not limited to, Private Practice, The Life Crisis Before Quarter, WTF, Baron Davis, the hit series, Blackish, Snowfall, and more. She is also a guest on a few popular TV shows including Everybody Hates Chris, Finding Carter, and more. Really, she’s been all over TV, so it wouldn’t be so shocking if you now realize where you’ve seen her before.

Peyton Alex Smith (Damon Sims)

Then we have Peyton Alex Smith, who plays Damon Sims in All Americans: Homecoming. One of Smith’s biggest roles thus far that you may have seen him in was his portrayal of Rafael Waithe on the popular CW series, Legacy, which will be back soon – but unfortunately, Smith will not participate, as he left the show.

Some of his other big television roles include a starring role in the series The Quad, as well as several guest roles on shows such as Luke Cage, Tales, and a few others. Smith has also had some experience in films, with small roles in films such as Detroit, mad money, and a few others.

Kelly Jenrette in All American: Homecoming.

Kelly Jenrette (Amara Patterson)

One of the older actors on this list, Kelly Jenrette plays Amara Patterson in All Americans: Homecoming, and was successful in both film and television.

With television, she had major roles in many shows, such as a voice role in Frisky Dingo, portraying Annelise in Grandfather, Winona in Limetown, Stacy Knox in Manhunt: Unabomber, and many other guest roles. She also had a major guest role on the popular Hulu series, The Handmaid’s Tale playing Annie in the episode “Other Woman”, which earned her an Emmy nomination.

Jenrette has also appeared in numerous independent films, with some of her highlights being Back to Goode Life, Audrey, Jinn, and others.

Cory Hardrict in All American: Homecoming.

Cory Hardrict (Coach Marcus Turner)

You can’t have one all american repercussions without sport, and in All Americans: Homecoming, Cory Hardrict plays Coach Marcus Turner, the baseball team’s coach. Hardrict has been in many movies and TV shows that you might recognize him from.

Some of his biggest roles have played Luc in Lincoln Heights, Cole Hammond in The oath, Nate in TO CRUSH, and Dane in the Showtime series, The Chi. He is also a guest on many television shows, including but not limited to Pacific Blue, City of Angels, NYPD Blue, The Shield, ER, CSI: Miami, and much more.

He was also part of the Return of the Living Dead film series, playing Cody for a few films, as well as film appearances Battle Los Angeles, Warm Bodies, Lovelace, American Sniper, All Eyez On Me, and more.

Sylvester Powell (JR)

Then we have Sylvester Powell, who plays JR in All Americans: Homecoming. Prior to coming to the new show, Powell’s biggest role thus far was portraying Tre on five points, as well as many other appearances on shows such as The selected and Criminal minds.

He also appeared in small independent films, some of which are Two Wolves, 99 North, The Gods, and more. Although he doesn’t have as much of a presence as some of his co-stars, I’m sure we’ll soon be seeing a lot more of him.

Camille Hyde (Thea Mays)

Moving on, we have Camille Hyde, who plays Thea Mays in All Americans: Homecoming. Hyde has been in the business for quite some time, appearing in a variety of TV shows you may be familiar with. These include, but are not limited to, The Thundermans, Power Rangers Dino Charge, American Vandal, Versus, Clip: Mr. Student Body President, and Katy Keene, a spin-off of another popular CW show, Riverdale.

So far the only movie Hyde has starred in was the year of marriage, a romantic comedy, but hopefully we can see a lot more of it soon after All Americans: Homecoming.

Mitchell Edwards (Cam Watkins)

Then we have Mitchell Edwards, who plays Cam Watkins in All Americans: Homecoming. Edwards has been on a few TV shows, including playing Severen Johnson Jr. in The fix, as well as portraying Marcus Holmes in Turn on Netflix. Edwards also played Cam (otherwise known as Cameron) on all american before moving on to the spin-off, so I’m sure you know the character pretty well.

Edwards has also acted in many films so far in his career including Roxanne Roxanne, Gorenos, Thriller, The First Purge, and more, and I’m sure we’ll only get to see that sooner.

Netta Walker in All American: Homecoming.

Last but not least, we have Netta Walker, who plays Keisha McCalla in All Americans: Homecoming. Walker is still a bit new to Hollywood, so she hasn’t had the chance to be as much as her co-stars yet, but even so, she’s still appeared in a variety of roles.

She made an appearance on the popular show, Chicago fire, as well as an appearance on The big jump. She also played Claire in the comedy-drama, Come as you are.
